Business partnering new product support

  • Partner closely with business and product teams to support the development and launch of new products;
  • Establish and embed robust back-end accounting processes and controls for new products and business lines; and
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial stakeholders, providing accounting input into product design and structuring.

Finance transformation automation

  • Drive the automation of financial processes across the FRC team, identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and control activities;
  • Support the deployment of AI tools and capabilities within the finance team; and
  • Champion best practice and continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Lending insurance accounting

  • Provide technical accounting leadership across Tide’s high-growth lending and insurance businesses;

  • Partner with Risk and Product teams on the accounting treatment of new lending and insurance propositions.

Audit tax

  • Lead the response to external auditors, managing the year-end audit process for India entities;
  • Lead engagement with tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries; and
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.

Stakeholder management leadership

  • Prepare and present financial results, technical accounting papers and management information to senior stakeholders;
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Financial Controllers, building team capability and technical expertise; and
  • Represent FRC on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
