PST takes an intelligence-led, risk-based approach encompassing executive protection, travel security, workplace and event security, protective intelligence, incident response, security technology, and third-party security services. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, external security providers, emergency services, and law enforcement, as appropriate.

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager, Global Physical Security Operations to help lead and strengthen our global physical security operations. Reporting to the Director of Physical Security, you will translate security strategy into practical operational measures, coordinate protective security activities across regions, manage security risks and incidents, and help ensure consistent execution of global security standards. This position requires sound judgment, operational leadership, adaptability, and the ability to make proportionate, risk-based decisions in complex and rapidly evolving environments. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable planning security operations, responding to emerging threats, working with senior leadership, and improving existing security capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Global Security Operations: Support the Director of Physical Security in implementing and continuously improving global physical security strategies, policies, standards, procedures, and operational programs, including cross-regional coordination and coverage as required.
  • Executive Protection and Travel Security: Plan and coordinate risk-based protective security for executives and designated personnel, including threat and travel-risk assessments, secure transportation, vetted protective resources, and contingency planning.
  • Physical Security Assessments: Conduct or coordinate security risk assessments of offices, facilities, sensitive work areas, and other company locations. Recommend and support appropriate improvements to access control, surveillance, visitor management, and emergency preparedness.
  • Protective Intelligence and Threat Assessment: Monitor and assess geopolitical developments, security threats, and concerning activities affecting personnel or company interests. Evaluate available intelligence and coordinate practical, proportionate risk-mitigation measures with relevant stakeholders.
  • Event and Corporate Security: Lead or coordinate physical security planning for corporate events, conferences, executive engagements, and other significant business activities, including venue assessments, protective arrangements, security staffing, and emergency planning.
  • Incident Response and Crisis Preparedness: Serve as an operational security lead during significant incidents, threats, or emergencies, as designated. Coordinate response activities, personnel accountability, stakeholder communications, and post-incident improvements while supporting broader crisis-management and business-continuity efforts.
  • Security Vendor Management: Oversee third-party security providers supporting executive protection, guarding, secure transportation, intelligence, event security, and other specialized services. Coordinate vendor selection, suitability assessments, performance monitoring, and service improvements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Security Technology and Program Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen security technologies, threat monitoring, emergency preparedness, operational reporting, and performance metrics. Identify security gaps, recommend corrective measures, and provide clear updates to leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills and operational judgment, including the ability to assess incomplete or rapidly changing information, evaluate threats, and make sound, proportionate, risk-based decisions under pressure.
  • Experience developing or implementing security risk assessments, operational plans, SOPs, emergency-response procedures, or comparable security programs, with an understanding of relevant physical security technologies and controls.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners, while exercising discretion with sensitive information.
  • Ability to operate effectively across cultures, time zones, and jurisdictions, including international travel and occasional support outside normal business hours. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, professional training, and practical experience.
