Senior Business Development Manager - Financial Institutions - APAC

We are re-imagining correspondent banking for low value transactions. We’re looking for a commercially minded professional to scale our correspondent banking sales in APAC, who possesses the capability to drive and improve the crossborder remittance experience in APAC. You’ll be a part of the Wise Platform team, helping deliver world class payment service solutions to our partners and their customers, powered by the Wise infrastructure. Banks, Fintechs and large enterprises use Wise Platform to build crossborder money movement solutions including Mandiri, Shinhan Bank, Morgan Stanley and others. Today we have 80+ global banks and platforms connected and powered by Wise Platform. Wise Platform enables financial institutions to leverage Wise’s direct connections to instant clearing schemes to significantly improve their correspondent banking infrastructure, resulting in significant operational cost savings while providing unparalleled speed and efficiency.

A bit about

the role

The role is based in our Singapore office, but you will also work closely with the Regional APAC and Global Wise Platform teams based in our offices around the world. You will work closely with other functions, including product management, compliance & legal, implementation and engineering. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for creating and progressing a pipeline of target financial institutions and signing impactful deals. You will be responsible for a key growth vertical in Wise Platform.

Your mission

• Grow Wise Platform’s correspondent banking volume share with regional banks in APAC.
• Work with the Wise Platform team to build a strong pipeline of financial institutions, and effectively manage the end-to-end sales process.
• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to define the proposition and commercial model for Wise Platform’s correspondent banking solution in APAC.
