FinCrime Operations Team Lead - AML Investigations

We’re looking for an AML Investigations Team Lead to join our team in Budapest. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission by helping identify suspicious activity and ensuring Wise remains compliant. You will play a crucial role in advancing our mission of Money Without Borders by leading a team of investigators in Budapest and collaborating with a larger team distributed across five different offices worldwide. Your mission is to lead and support your team in identifying and analyzing suspicious payment patterns, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, and fostering a strong sense of community within the team. As an AML Investigations Team Lead, your primary duties include building and developing your team, optimizing operational processes, and collaborating with other teams to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a team of AML Investigators with a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
